The Texas Department of Transportation has awarded Atkins Construction to oversee parts of their statewide public-private partnership (P3) program. The contract lasts for six years and they will help to coordinate several facets of the P3 process. This contract shows the dedication TxDOT has to P3s and that these arrangements will continue to be sought in the state.
