The Illinois State Assembly has adopted a resolution in support of the Interstate 55 (I-55) expansion project allowing the Department of Transportation (IDOT) to enter into the state’s first public-private partnership (P3) agreement. This P3 would add one managed toll lane in each direction of a 25-mile stretch of I-55.
