View Larger Image I-77 toll foes hit a dead end in Senate The Charlotte Observer » The North Carolina House of Representatives passed House Bill 954 to terminate the contract with I-77 Mobility Partners. The $660 million project would add toll lanes but would prohibit the state from adding free lanes to the Interstate for 50 years. The State Senate rejected the bill. Currently under construction, completion of the Interstate 77 managed toll lanes is scheduled for 2018.
