The SmoothRide vehicle mounted system can scan and map road surfaces at highway speeds without requiring lane closures, crash trucks, or escort vehicles. The system digitally recreates the existing roadway and maps a high-resolution model of the finished project. The information can then be bed to a paver and results in a smoother road surface and expedites completion.
