The Senate approved an amended version of the transportation funding and policy extension. Due to the amendments, the bill has returned to the House for modification or a vote to approve the Senate version. If Congress can’t come to agreement on a funding and policy extension, U.S. DOT will begin slashing funding for transportation on August 1.
