Eight years after a private corporation paid $3.8 billion for the right to operate and collect tolls on the Indiana Toll Road, the Indiana Toll Road Concession Co. has declared bankruptcy on $6 billion in debt to various lenders plus $2 million to local road construction contractors and others.
