In 2015 the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) awarded more than $1 billion in project contracts that will be funded by revenue generated through the state’s Transportation Funding Act (HB 170). This article highlights a few of the 17 transportation project contracts awarded in November. The GDOT expects an increase in monthly awarded contracts throughout 2016.
